Very vibrant. The paper is thick and the quality is excellent. The only problem I had was that I didn't check the dimensions and I was expecting full size notebooks for school, and so I ordered many of them. When they arrived they were mini notebooks and I almost returned them but I have since found many uses for them. My husband likes this to keep in his garage for his wood working projects. It's small and he can write down what he needs and the sizes of what he needs and then can take it to the local hardware store. Very convenient for him!!
