This is the first time I have ever encountered deceptive advertising.
I ordered 10 of the Carolina Pad Wirebound Notebooks with Kraft Cover, 7.75 x 5 inches, Item #775. I have ordered this product in the past and was very pleased with it. The notebooks, which were manufactured in Canada, had a thick Kraft cover and smooth-textured paper.
I received my shipment today. Instead of Item #775, I was sent Item #775FD. These notebooks, which were manufactured in India, are not the product that I ordered. They have brightly-colored paper covers that are much thinner than Kraft covers. (I received five notebooks with bright blue covers, three with bright yellow, one with bright magenta, and one with bright green). The paper is thinner and has a much rougher texture.

It has a very nice quality heavy weight kraft front and back cover. After I fill up a notebook, I keep it for future reference. I really like this notebook because the cover is mostly blank and allows the user to write on the cover clearly with a marker. Black marker on the kraft cover is high contrast and very easy to read. Almost all other medium sized notebooks I see have a picture or some art pattern on the cover that makes writing on the cover extremely hard to read. Even the notebooks with a solid color on the cover are usually a very dark color and it is very difficult to read writing on the cover.
