I've used these for several years now - through high school math courses, four years of math undergrad, and now as I enter a new graduate program. I find these squares to be the perfect size for notes and graphs. They are more expensive - I've been buying them at Office Max for something like $4.19/notebook, so Amazon's price is slightly better - but they last so much longer than a standard notebook. The 5-squares-per-inch forces you to keep smaller and more organized notes, so I find that not only am I getting 25% more lines than a 4-square-per-inch notebook, I'm also neater. These seem to be the only bound 5-per-inch notebooks I can find, too. Monopoly? Probably. Worth it.

Great purchase, for someone that really needs graph paper with 5 squares/inch this was a must buy. I'd definitely recommend it, but only if you can't use 4 square/inch notebooks. $3 per notebook may be a bit overpriced but 100 sheets will last you a while.
