The only thing holding this great little product back from a full-throated, five-star review is the puny pen included. Granted, a pen is included, most items like this a buyer is not so lucky. Having said that you can always swap out the puny pen for another of your own choosing, but with one caveat, the pen has to be small, and thin in order for the cover to close back up. I choose one of Lamy's Pico, retractable ballpoint pens, and while the cover doesn't close completely; near enough for me. The only other small gripe is the white ID tag inside, which is super annoying and very hard to excise with a pair of scissors. Be careful when cutting off the tag you don't accidentally nip the inside of the notebook. It's a great little notebook to have in your pocket when you head out, the cover feels like butter and the paper pad inside does the trick (refills are available through Amazon too). Great price-point. Buy one and give it a spin.
