They have some colorful splotches scattered throughout, so it makes them festive for cards. They are also VERY THIN paper and you can read through them. Just what I needed, April 4, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Wausau Stardust Fine Business Stationery A9 Envelope, 5.75 X 8.75 Inches, White, 50 Count (20310) (Office Product) These envelopes were perfect for the greeting cards I print out and send to friends. A 8 1/2 x 11" folded in half fit's perfectly inside. The envelopes are White and sprinkled with colorful tiny specc's making them good for all occasions vice a plain white envelope. The size of the envelope is 5.75 x 8.75 on 24lb paper stock. They are on heavy enough paper for my needs and 1/2 the price of a box store. All in all I am very happy with these and will order more.

It looks like flecks of colored paper within this whitish paper. I was expecting to use these and print pictures on them for a starry feel and let's just say, it looked like I didn't know what paper I was getting. This is great paper if you know what to expect. The quality is great.
