The magnetic closure with a space for a pen or sharpie is outstanding - finally no more mad scramble to find a pen someplace. Wish they also had it in a grid paper, rather than just lined paper though...

I've used it for the past 4 years. However, you should know before ordering off this site that the color you get is not what's listed. Had I known I was not getting what the picture was, I wouldn't have ordered it. The one I received is black and gray, not two-tone blue as in the picture. I'm not going to pay to ship it back and get another, because then I'd end up paying twice as much as it's worth. Probably give it away to someone who likes it better. Tried to save some time and a trip to the store, but I'll end up driving over there now, anyway...

They are durable and have a simple but professional look to them. The cover is rigid, like a hardcover book, and although mine are tossed around and bumped around, they hold up beautifully and look nearly new. The cover has a wrap around flap with a magnetic closure and a stretchy pen loop inside. The magnet is nice and strong and there is an audible "snap" when it closes. The double spirals are also high quality. You're not going to have a notebook with squished and out of shape spirals. The paper is microperforated and tears nice, but not so easily that the pages you want to stay in are falling out. The lines on the paper are a pale grey and doesn't intrude badly. The paper itself is very smooth, not like some of the paper in notebooks we've seen being churned out in recent years. It is relatively "thick". I like a paper that is not going to transfer impressions from my pen... Read more
