Very nice padfolio for resumes, December 28, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Markings by C.R. Gibson Brown Pebbled Leatherette Padfolio, Brown (MLLP-8469OS) (Office Product) I brought this padfolio with me to one interview so far and I'm looking forward to bringing it with me to tomorrow's interview. It's a nice quality leatherette padfolio that professionally holds resumes. There is also a nice big notepad and a little loop in the middle to hold your pen. There is one big pocket to store your documents, but it is kind of tight. Also, make sure that the pen is small enough to slip through the loop so that the padfolio can close completely.

Works, but destroys documents, October 4, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Markings by C.R. Gibson Brown Pebbled Leatherette Padfolio, Brown (MLLP-8469OS) (Office Product) This is a perfectly usable padfolio, but it comes really sticky and that got all over my hands. The dye/stickiness also gets on anything you store in the padfolio, so if you don't want your papers having brown splotches all over them, steer clear.

Nice Budget Portfolio, September 3, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Markings by C.R. Gibson Brown Pebbled Leatherette Padfolio, Brown (MLLP-8469OS) (Office Product) Yes, for a computer geek like me, a portfolio is rather "old skool". But there are times when I just need plain paper to put down my ideas, thoughts, notes and sketches (networking diagrams, flow charts, etc.) Sometimes, computers, iPads, etc. just don't work the same as plain paper and a pen.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so settled for this one. It is worth the ten or so dollars, but not much more. However it holds a pad of paper, a pen, has a pocket for papers and one for business cards. The card holder is too small for a few cards that I've tried to put in it, so I end up putting them in vertically.
I have noticed that the plastic "leatherette" likes to stick in the heat of Las Vegas summers like any other cheap vinyl or plastic.
If I continue to use and carry this, I'll probably replace it with a nicer one, probably in leather. There really isn't anything "wrong" with this item, it is functional and as well made as one would expect... Read more
