Pelikan Brilliant Green ink, August 24, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Pelikan 4001 2oz Bottle Ink (Green) (Office Product) Pelikan does not make a huge number of different ink colors, but the few that they do make are well worthwhile. This green ink is no exception, and it truly lives up to its name as being "brilliant." A price-per-ounce calculation showed that it was a good deal compared to other inks, and it comes in a well-shaped bottle reminiscent of old ink bottles which allows the bottle to be tipped in order to allow extraction of the last drop of ink. I like to put Pelikan ink into my various Pelikan pens, and this one will be going in shortly. A good value!

I have been suckered by Levenger's nice bottles before, but ended up with a bunch of clogs and scratchy writing. This Pelikan ink flows perfectly and gives a nice "juicy" line without feathering, and dries quickly, it also begins to flow extremely fast, requiring little to no priming before you begin writing. In addition, this bottles is huge! The color is sort of a grassy green with a hint of blue. A teal that leans heavily towards the green side, if you will. The writing is slightly transparent and seems to become a tad greener over time, which gives a nifty effect in diaries and planners.
