It is black with a little bright red ball perched on the tip of the slim, black pocket clip. This attractive ballpoint is an attention-getter. It is extremely slender, but the matte finish makes it easy to grip. The little screw-like top you press to advance the ballpoint is nifty, also. Warning: Everyone who sees it will want to try it; I'm becoming loathe to let them as some are a bit too heavy-handed/clumsy with the "press-down top" & I'm afraid they'll break it. I've started to say, smiling, & shaking my head, "No-no, you have to buy it to try it." Then I give him/her the info at Amazon. I don't mean to imply that it's fragile, it isn't with normal use, but it's not an inexpensive, homely, generic ballpoint made for kids and everyone to just shove in a pocket or toss carelessly in a briefcase or purse. It should be treated like any fine pen you buy and use. I treasure mine and I want to enjoy it for a long time.

They are very, very slender and distinctive. They also write well. One thing I can't figure out his how to insert a refill. I won't need to know now, but for the future. I tried calling the manufacturer and also tried sending them an email on their web site but so far have not received any response after two tries.
Does anyone know how to refill these beautiful ballpoint pens?

This seems to fit the bill perfectly. It looks very sleek and unique, and it feels sturdy and well built. It writes pretty nicely, but I was hoping it would be a tiny bit finer (this is partially my fault for not knowing how this size tip would write). I use this pen mostly with my moleskine notebook, and it clips nicely onto the front cover. I definitely would recommend this pen to others.
