excellent writing implement - consistent, long lasting, September 24, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: uni-ball Vision Stick Micro Point Roller Ball Pens, 5 Black Ink Pens (60359PP) (Office Product) ok, I used to get these free from work, where I insisted that they order them as part of my compensation package. What can I say, I am finicky, and when you are writing all the time who wants to push a cheapo stick pen when you can glide with rollerball flourish? I have tried various makes and models and always come back to the uniball micro. Note that even tho the product pic is of the old "diamond" barrel model, the actual product is the new "long oval window" barrel. Good price compared to retail office supply store.
Works Great for My Duplicate Checks, May 7, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: uni-ball Vision Stick Micro Point Roller Ball Pens, 5 Black Ink Pens (60359PP) (Office Product) I know I'm a "throw-back" due to the fact that I'd much rather write a check than use my debit card. However, I'm NOT one of those people you get stuck behind in line as they labor FOREVER to write out a simple check. Before I ever get in line, I write everything but the dollar amount on my check so once my items have been rung up it takes less than a minute for me to finish and present the check to the cashier.
For some reason, I just enjoy writing the check in my own hand and once home, I never have to fish around in my pockets or my handbag searching for a receipt in order to balance out my account. It's all right there in one place.
Before I found these pens, I always had to have a certain kind of pen because of the duplicate checks I use. It had to write firmly enough to impart the information to the duplicate and either some pens would not do that - they were too "marker-ish" and I couldn't press hard enough without damaging the nib or they were too sharp... I really wanted to love these..they are just ok, April 27, 2012 By cucs "cucaracha" (seattle, wa) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: uni-ball Vision Stick Micro Point Roller Ball Pens, 5 Black Ink Pens (60359PP) (Office Product) I really am loyal to the .7 mm version of this pen. Both versions have waterproof black non-fade ink. After hundreds of watercolor and ink drawings, I can attest the ink is excellent and does not fade or smear when wet. Now the problem I have with these .5 mm pens is they run dry somehow very quickly, or maybe the flow is just not good due to the micro tip. Also, none of my other pens exploded ink everywhere at high altitude on the airplane except for this one. So, it may be good for writing, but on watercolor paper, it just doesn't hold up.
